Kikkoman, Uni-President, and Zhenji jointly established Tongwan Zhenji Food Co., Ltd.
On the morning of June 25, "Tongwan Zhenji Food Co., Ltd." held a grand opening ceremony in the Hebei Hall of Shijiazhuang. This is the largest investment promotion project in the condiment industry in Hebei Province.
The newly formed Tongwan Zhenji Food Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 300 million yuan, of which Kikkoman and Uni-President invested in cash, each accounting for 45% of the shares, and Zhenji invested in operating assets, accounting for 10% of the shares. The new company is headquartered in Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, and has three factories in Zhaoxian, Tangshan and Langfang. The current annual comprehensive production capacity of various condiments is 100,000 tons, making it the largest condiment company in northern my country.
Japan's Kikkoman Co., Ltd. has a brewing history of more than 300 years. It is currently a world-renowned soy sauce company with products sold in more than 100 countries; Taiwan Uni-President Enterprise Group belongs to Taiwan's top 100 consortiums, and its investment fields cover food, finance, pharmaceuticals and other industries. It is one of the Taiwanese enterprises with the largest investment in the mainland; Shijiazhuang Zhenji Brewing Group Co., Ltd. is the drafting unit of the current national and industry standards for China's soy sauce and vinegar. It independently developed and built China's modern vinegar technology and Japanese-style soy sauce technology production lines. It is the first in the industrialization and automation of Chinese vinegar and soy sauce brewing process.
It is reported that the newly established Tongwan Zhenji will implement a multi-brand business strategy step by step: at the initial stage, the Kikkoman brand "Kikkoman Soy Sauce" and "Zhenji" brands will be used to expand the market; the target market of "Kikkoman Soy Sauce" is Beijing In the high-end market in Tianjin, the main market for the "Zhenji" brand will be locked in Hebei Province; after a detailed investigation of the market, the "Unification" brand will be used as a product for the mid-range markets in Beijing and Tianjin to be put into the target market.
